You asked and we delivered. You can now resync a client’s data in Aider with changes you just made in Xero, on demand!
What’s the new feature?
Aider already automatically updates your clients’ data overnight every day. This means that you’re ready at the start of a day to prioritise which clients you need to work with.
With the new resync on demand feature, you can now update those clients’ data in Aider immediately as you get through your to-do list and make changes to their files in Xero.
We recommend that you resync a client’s data once you reconcile a bunch of transactions in Xero. This ensures that Aider is showing you up-to-date compliance and performance insights.
How does this feature work?
You can now see when all of your clients’ data were last updated on both the Dashboard and in the individual client’s Client Insights pages.
If you’ve made changes to a client’s Xero file since the last Aider update, simply click on the Resync icon next to these last update timestamps.
Aider will then import the latest data from that client’s Xero file and recalculate the insights and compliance checklists.
You can check the progress of the update by hovering over the “i” icon next to the “Updating data…please wait” message.
What benefits does this feature have for advisors?
Now you no longer have to wait until the next day to see the progress you made during the day updating your clients’ data.
